Health Guarantee
The seller guarantees that the puppy being purchased under this contract is in good health at the time of the sale and will be free of any life altering or life-threatening congenital diseases for up to one year after the time of sale. In order to ensure this guarantee, the buyer must have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian withing four days of receiving possession of the puppy.
This examination will be at the expense of the buyer and will need to be presented to the seller in the case of any healthy guarantee claims.
If the buyer decides to refuse the required examination or does not have it performed with in the four-day time frame, the buyer will assume complete responsibility for the puppy's health, and the contract will be considered void. This guarantee applies only to the original buyer.

Replacement Policy
If the puppy does not pass the initial require examination, or develops any life altering or life threatening genetic or hereditary disorders within one year of the date the buyer agreed to this contract, it will be eligible for a replacement.
The buyer will be required to provide documentation from at least two licensed veterinarians including: written documentation and diagnosis, test results, and any other information as requested by the seller. The seller reserves the right to confirm the diagnosis with a veterinarian of his choice. Upon replacement, the puppy will need to be returned to the seller. If a genetic condition should cause the puppy to die within one year of the date the buyer agreed to this contract, it will be eligible for replacement.
A necropsy will need to be performed and a formal report must be issued by a licensed veterinarian. Once the seller has received the report, it will be reviewed before making a finial decision. The buyer will be financially responsible for all veterinary expenses during this time.
If the seller finds the necropsy report to reflect that the cause of death was due to a genetic condition, the seller will agree to replace the puppy. The replacement puppy will be taken from a future litter and will be of the same sex and value of the original puppy. Cash rounds, in part of full, will not be given under any circumstances.
The following are not covered by this guarantee:
- Size, weight, structure, coat quality, or temperament of the puppy
- Reimbursement for veterinary expenses
- Reimbursement for air transport or return expenses
- External parasites, such as ticks, fleas, or ear mites
- Internal parasites, such as intestinal worms, or their effects
- Inguinal or umbilical hernias
- Any physical problem which is or could be the result of an injury
Buyer agrees that he/she understands this contract fully and that this contract is under jurisdiction of the state of Michigan. It is agreed that any legal issues or court proceedings concerning the puppy purchased under this contract will be resolved in Calhoun County, Michigan.
